Introduction: PartnerFilter replaces the coalescing device AC 7181/2, which has a special structure to remove dirt and water from hydrocarbons and other oils and gases. The outer medium layer filters out silt, rust and other particulate contaminants. The inner layer absorbs the water and chemically combines it so that no water is released downstream.  When the filter element AC 7181/2 reaches its water storage limit, the medium expands and closes, and the pressure difference increases rapidly. This signals to the operator that the chuck must be replaced.

Technical Information: 1. With some lube and hydraulic oils all of the water may not be removed in one pass,and extra passes will be required for total removal. 2. Maximum operating temperature:250°F. 3. Water capacity:ranges from 2 to 4 quarts. 4. AC 7181/2 cartridge will shut off flow when loaded with water or dirt. Appropriate precautions should be taken in critical applications where oil flow must be maintained. We make AC 7181/2 cartridge is beta grade. Excellent filtration performance. The Beta X = 1000 number means that for every 1000 particles of size x in the fluid, on average only one particle will pass through the filter.
